For example I would like to see Mitsubishi in F1.
Basically which factory team would you like to see in a series that they would be a bad fit for. My example is bad because they can barely keep the doors open, much less field a top tier F1 team.
What’s your ironic factory dream team?

I want Chevy to do rally with the Sonic RS and Camaro.

Dodge was the one I was thinking of for Formula E as well. I assume your intention was for Cummins as well.

I don’t know. I just want someone to rally a Camaro.

Effa needs to put their M100 at rally cross. It’s a stable car with a low center of gravity, as Brazilian magazine Quatro Rodas could attest!
Or the Chery S-18 on any Touring Car championiship, the car that’s so well built the brake pedal crooked when the Quatro Rodas’ test driver slammed the brakes:

Saab. It would be hilarious as the Swedes would somehow find a way to shoehorn a Saab turbo engine boosted up to 1000 hp and redesign the F1 car to new Swedish standards and mechanisms.

“Saab has made a FWD transversely mounted rear Engine’d F1 Car. It has a completely different kind of suspension that mimics human bones developed by Ohlins. The seating position is also perfect for long distance driving. Oh yes, it passes the moose test”

Mitsubishi in F1 would be a disaster and I would pay to see it happen.
I think I’d like to see Audi in F1 or Ferrari in WEC, in the top class.

I’d like to see Chrysler, GM, and Ford return to the Trans Am-type racing.
I’d like to see Freightliner, Peterbilt, Mack, Kenworth, and International field racing trucks on a road course (Hey, if the Europeans can do it, so can we...once again).
Hyundai’s 5.0L V8 would be an interesting choice of powerplant for the Indy championship.
I’d also like to see Kawasaki get into MotoGP.

Lamborghini F1. I don’t understand how the VAG talk was Audi instead. Shouldn’t be Porsche either, they belong in sports cars.
